What an AMAZING event!

On Saturday, October 21st almost 300 San Diego professionals and socialites came together to celebrate the launch of a new luxury car rental service, Luxe Car Collective (LCC). The launch party, Martinis and Lamborghinis, merged all things luxury. The venue was a $20M beachfront La Jolla mansion. Party attendees enjoyed Lamborghinis and other luxury cars, upscale networking, martinis, savory and sweet Fall appetizers and desserts by Chef Kate, homemade pizzas and fresh rolled sushi by Sushi Rob. The entertainment and photo ops were top notch with beats by DJ Ofier, a traveling Magic of Sebastian magic show, a fire breathing mermaid and homemade sushi eating off a beautiful Nyotaimori (body sushi) model.

The event raised awareness for future Luxe Car Collective renters/drivers and for car owners that might add their luxury car(s) to the LCC fleet. Party ticket sales also raised close to $5000 for Luxe Car Collective’s nonprofit partner, Virgin Unite. Virgin Unite is Richard Branson’s nonprofit that is currently helping recent hurricane victims. Luxe Car Collective Co-Owners and launch party hosts, Christine McDannell and Jay Johnson, have designated Virgin Unite as their nonprofit partner by also gifting 5% of the company’s net proceeds to the organization throughout the year.

Why we chose Virgin Unite as our Charity:

Virgin Unite’s overheads are covered by Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, meaning that 100% of all donations received will go directly to helping support local BVI communities.


The recent hurricanes’ have left unprecedented devastation across the Caribbean, it is a traumatic time for the British Virgin Islands and the whole surrounding area has been affected. Whole communities and towns have been decimated – and it’s likely it will be some years before the region is fully recovered.
